May the 24-th was a very busy day for Big Easy | One when we took part in the Footage Marketplace exhibition held at the home of BAFTA, London’s premium media meeting place.
The event started at 9.00 a.m. and lasted till 4.30 p.m. receiving around 300 visitors and hosting 33 exhibitor companies and 3 seminars. Seminars were devoted to discussing such topics as virtual reality, footage search and artificial intelligence technologies.
Big Easy One were presenting our new technology – the Cataloging Tool – which is about automatic video archiving and Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) keywording developed in co-operation with Clarifai. The tool’s main advantage is speed; a video hour can be keyworded in just 3 minutes. The whole process is fully automatic and apart from clicking the go button does not require any manual work. This is a great solution for footage libraries and digital archivists. The focus of our visitors’ attention was mainly around AI and video archiving workflow which offered huge savings in cost and man hours.
The event was very busy the whole day and by the closing time it was still full of visitors. It was great to meet all the footage professionals in one place, establish contacts and partnerships.
