Media Library Set up
When setting up your media library we do the following:
- Configure system
- Configure pricing and licensing
- Configure delivery file formats
- Configure user roles
- Configure media assets dynamic attributes
- Configure forms
- Configure system modules
- Test the system and go live
We’re confident that we have most features and processes covered in our video management system.
The process and presentation may be different to your existing system, but essentially they will be there.
Here’s how we do things.
We’ll walk you through the build that suits you best – Standard, Premium or Enterprise.
Then we’ll leave the demo site open for a couple of weeks for you to analyse. In this time we’ll ask you to map any differences in your existing system and the new one you’re considering.
If you decide there are some functions that we haven’t covered and are “must-haves” for you, we’ll map the system differentials, create a clear specification of the cost and delivery date.
That way you can decide how important something is and the difference it may make to your time to market or sales.
In essence, as we have the frameworks already built and tested, we can deliver a video or multimedia library quite quickly. The main time taken is providing design concepts, getting approvals and sign-offs and coding the unique design into the system.
Data migration can take some time too, but if you can copy all your data to portable hard drives and send them to the nearest datacentre then it will only take a few days at most.
Our video library management software has a wide variety of innovative functions, top notch tools and solutions; depending on the time taken to resolve the design and branding requirements we can deliver working footage and multimedia libraries within one to three months.
Naturally, custom development will take more time for library set up, depending on the specifications and goals.
