The British Universities Film Video Council is seeking to fill the new ?42,000-a-year post of Deputy Chief Executive. The move follows the announcement of the retirement of Geoffrey O??Brien, Assistant Director Finance and Services, in December. The Deputy Chief Executive will manage the day-to-day running and development of the BUFVC towards agreed strategic targets. Geoffrey O??Brien joined the BUFVC in 1990 after a career in commercial television, including more than twenty years at ITN.
