Associated Press Tandem

The Associated Press is taking a multimedia approach to its stock footage business. The company offers its extensive still photos collection in tandem with its archives of film and video. The service is available via the AP Archive sales operation. At the moment, there remain separate footage and photos web portals. The same sales team is handling both collections. AP announced that the new strategy is a direct response to new market needs. It will allow providing a diversity of materials. Also it will change the financial value of the footage collections which is important in the light of the present economic situation.
