We’ve introduced a Pay Per Second feature which allows users to buy the very shots they need. It’s a completely new approach to footage sales that your customers will definitely like.
How does it work?
Upload your reel. You can upload a reel of five or fifty minutes or more. The transcoder creates the preview and thumbnail files automatically and stores all the embedded metadata. If necessary, you can view the reel through the online keyphrase tool and add more keyphrases and metadata as you go. That’s it. Your reel is searchable, priced and ready for sale in the frames or clips that your customer wants.
Customer choice – only the seconds they want. The user selects the video(s) and imports them into the video editor tool where they edit or delete the seconds they don’t want. Our system calculates the cost of the remaining footage and provides payment options. The whole process is completed in moments with all the stages being automated by the system.
Sell RM videos. The Pay Per Second option can be applied for selling RM clips as well. In this case you as the library admin would have to approve the shots chosen and calculate the cost offline.
